about the instructor
Faced with chronic injury in my knees after extensive training in both gymnastics and wushu kung-fu, I took to yoga and swimming as a gentle way to rehabilitate my joints and ease the emotional pain involved in the possibility of losing my active lifestyle. Yoga was to serve as a low impact physical exercise for me and my weak knees, and has since evolved into a passion that has changed my life.
It was the connection to the breath, along with the noticeable and fast rehabilitation of my injuries that made me passionate about yoga. As I furthered my practice, I felt more emotionally stable, physically fit, and noticed my life became more peaceful and directed.
I see yoga as a healing art and the path to recovery and vitality for both the mind and body.
